hmm how much to drill the holes for the sliders? I still haven't done mine yet. They're on the truck but just by the existing holes. With the headaches I've been having I just can't get under there and apply enough force to drill the holes without my head pounding after a few min. I think I've gotten one hole completed out of all of them :anonymous:

I drilled out the driver's side but burned all my step bits up and never got around to buying new ones to finish the passenger side. With a good drill and drill bits you can get the holes done in an hour or so. If the truck is on a lift, even quicker since you can get more muscle behind it.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
    The picture piqued my interest.

You could use a bi-metal hole saw, just make sure to keep the teeth lubed/oiled as you're drilling. The 2.5" size might work for you exhaust diameter (not sure it's size, but tit's typically 2.25")

I used when I made my skids, and it made it through 3/16" fairly easily.

Holy fuck those gauges are hard to install on the steering column. Dremel is getting a good work out.

I have 15 step[ drill bits. Bought them in bulk off ebay BNIB> --- I use a small ~150# impact to drill the holes in the frame. I have my jack and with a second pair of hands to mark the holes with a sharpie, we can get these done. I have enough light to get it done in the dark also.

All my batteries are charged and ready to rock. Will do it "con gratis"

Putting a VAC/Boost and AFR gauge using the FlexPod steering column gauge mount. I have had to buy new bolts and spacers to make the pods fit the gauges properly, dremel the bezel on both gauges and now I have to dremel the little buttons on the front of the VAC/Boost gauge so that the steering wheel can turn freely.

Lot of work but it should be worth it in the end. The wiring was the easiest part of the whole process!

Glow shift gauges? I did that install already mine is oil pressure and egt everything went 2gether flawlessly wonder why it's bein a pain. I didn't have 2 do any modification at all. Also when I'm doin your pump I can help drills your holes or I can weld them either or

Glowshift for the Boost/VAC. AEM for the AFR gauge.

I think because the rest went easily something had to be a pain in the ass! I'll bring everything with me then and we'll knock out what we can.
