What do you mean the Camry doesn't have a v6? They offer both the 4 and 6

My wife's new car is a 2013 Accord EX-L 4cyl sedan. She loves it. If I was going coupe V6 I would've had to have gone with a manual trans. I hope you did. Honda makes a great manual transmission. We traded an 07 V-6 camry for it. We don't miss the camry at all. That 3.5 was strong but handling didn't match, and the interior build quality wasn't nearly as good. And the 4 cyl accord has been getting about 33 mpg and it's only got about 3500 on the clock. Hoping it gets better as it breaks in.

Me too, except it would be a second hand BMW or Audi as opposed to any Japanese car.

Used German cars can be had cheap in the states because everybody is unnecessarily afraid of them.

The only reason I drive a Japanese truck, is that there is no real alternative in the mid size market....

My wife has a 2013 Accord EX-L V6. It has 278 HP and I can get 40MPG on the highway.

    I suppose....

I had a loaded V6 with every option and it was no doubt a great car

I just don't understand the point of these "goodbye" threads?? They make no sense? You bought a new car... Great! You're on a Tacoma site. You are going to take some shit for your purchase.

Good luck with it. It has great resale value and should be reliable but I traded in my Accord for my Tacoma with no goodbye thread on the Accord site. My favorite ones are the ones that trade for a Dodge Ram and talk about how much better they are

no v6 camry in CO? strange because i've driven the Camry V6 SE and its pretty sporty and has some sense of urgency to them, however for family applications i'd much rather have my truck. as for the comparison of accord and camry to frontier to taco? your insane the accord and camry are both good cars where as the frontier is just shit nissan slapped together to try and compete with the taco.

Yeah, about a car length behind the rig in front of you  I could probably get 30 in my Tacoma or better doing the same thing.

Daily day to day driving I get 20.5 with my DCLB V6. As KB voodoo said, not worth giving up my truck for the little difference in savings. But who gives a shit because I didn't trade my truck for an Accord!!

Once you drive a German car for a while, you start to understand how things are SUPPOSED to be built.

My Audi is built like a tank.

I picked this beauty up for $12K a couple years ago. It now has 120,000 miles and it still looks and feels brand new.

You do what you gotta do. That's a long commute for a truck. The whole "4 banger 5 lug" arguement is dumb IMHO because he'd be sacrificing so much of what he liked about the v6 DC TRD that it wouldn't matter anymore.

Anyways, I get why people are giving you crap but there are very active members and mods on this site that don't even own a taco anymore. This trade is more about necessity than "dodge/jeep/ecoboost is way better bro."

This is better than "I sold my Tacoma to buy a Ram" thread. My first car was an 88 Accord, I loved it.

Agree 100% with that. If I had to drive that far I'd either park or trade the truck as well.

If you haven't picked up the accord yet, please test drive the TSX in V6. Much better looking than it's Accord sibling, brings in the better suspension of the two, bumps horse power and torque by a few, and only choice of options is with NAV or without. I was able to pick up a year end left over for the same price as an new EX-L. Never regretted doing so.
I'm sorry you can't keep the Taco and get the new car. I'm very grateful that I can, since like you my commute to the office is 72 miles one way.

We have a 2003 accord we bought brand new. Can't beat it for reliability Has 200,000+ miles on it and the engine is as peppy as day one. Of course I have heard tacomas getting 500,000 miles on them but the accord is a better family car if that is why you are trading. If you don't mind what did you get out of your taco?
