I'm putting a max coupler on it for articulation. the suspension is for speed. i've pulled it up to 60 over rough terrain and through snady whoops, and it stays more leveled and bucks less than the truck.

I'd kinda like to see video of that :D Do you have limit straps setup or are you using the shocks as limit straps? :p The springs look like Honda lowering springs you can get on eBay for $40. Thought about running a stiffer spring rate and getting rid of one pair of coils? 4 coils is about as cool as running 8 shocks.

they're from an acura, so close :p

shocks are limiting it at the moment. the 4 spring setup is temporary, just to get it on the road/trail again. i'm on the fence right now, but the two options that i've designed and priced out, are taking out one set of springs and replacing with air bags with in'cab controlls, so i can adjust them indevidually to level the trailer on very off camber trails, and then add weigh capacity for when i'm hauling all of my shop equipment around.

the other option is all out long travel trailer, and remove the red coils completely and put a small shock hoop in to run a 10''+ coilover.

right now it takes high speed and crawling well, so the decision is whice one i want to cater to more with the next step.

My go-pro was out of commission last time i pulled it fast, so i unfortunately don't have a video for you.

The easiest way to tell, for me at least, is the inner C shape. D44's are tall and skinny, D60 are short and fat.

My old truck had a D44, don't beat yourself up :D Actually, the new owner swapped in a Dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear with 40" Iroks. He just finished up the Atlas install too :eek:

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I don't know i think you can get more for your money. Sure it has a 3.4L swap but it's leaf sprung and on tiny Mini truck axles. i would want bigger axles and linked for that price tag.

    yes, and I wont pay 13 .....

but for the condition it looks like its in.... also have to live with our stupid canadian prices....... the mini axle would last MAYBE 1 year under the truck.....

now I wonder if i can make my tacobox work, stupid truck being burnt, grumble grumble

Also Jerry i have thought long and hard about bringing a truck up from the states as the pricing and conditions are WAYYYY better, but if its lifted I cant import it.....
