It's a semi-gloss paint, but it's only there to protect the stell from surface rust. I'd find a powder coater in your area to paint it for you. We're working on getting a powder coat set up going, but it may be a while before that happens.

Do you have any pics with the lights mounted? Any possibility for a group buy? I'm still interested and will order one as soon as my fund permits. Keep up with the good work. You have a lot of potential customers here.

I'll talk to Brandon tonight about a group buy. What kind of discount are you guys looking for, compared to how many people are gonna go in on it.

Light tabs can be added where ever you want.

i am not greedy, so i wont say i want a 100% discount, but 95% off would be nice...i think that is one of the best looking ones i have seen to date. really looks great, one thing i would like to know is it does work with the trd skidplate, but what about someof the other ones like the bud built, or i forget the other ones. are the all the same. either way, i think that will appeal to many for a group buy, where is it shipping out of?

    Kevhogaz,

Thanks for the extra pics! The lightbar looks really nice. I talked to my sister in-law's brother, who lives in Tucson, and says he can pick one up for me. He will be coming to LA next week to visit- her sister, my sister-n-law, is having baby due next week and the whole family is driving west.

Can he stop at the shop to pick one up for me? If so, what are the business hours and location?

    Thanks, in advance.
    Joey

Joey, if you want, you could pick it up at the shop we work at, which is right off of the I-10, in Tempe. We're usually there from 0800 until 3 or 4. Just let us know when you wanna come by, and we'll be sure and be there.

I don't know about working with other skid plates, if the dimensions are the same, it should work. The bar mounts to the frame, on the same mounts as the front bumper.

The bars are shipped out of Phoenix, AZ.

We're about 10 minutes from central Phoenix.

wow thats awesome, i can save on the shipping to jersey, but may be like 6 months or so till my freinds drive out here...but good to know. how about if you build one now, leave it in teh shop in the back, and when its old and dusty i get a disocunt...hahahaha , cant wait to get one though,

one other thing, have they been "tested" and taken a hit, like, they are more than just cosmetic i assume, correct

We haven't smashed anything with one of the bars yet, mainly because neither of us own a truck that the light bar will fit on. Brandon built a bumper for my '01 Taco, and I'll smash something with it here pretty soon, and post up the results.

Shipping to 77494? Powder coating these yet? ETA on that? How much extra for that? Looking to pick one of these up in a couple of weeks. Group buy pricing would be OK but mostly just glad someone is making these & doing them right & communicating here on regular basis!

No word on the powder coating yet. I'm trying to figure out a way to get that all started up, so no ETA on when it will be available.

Email Brandon at avidoffroad@hotmail.com for a shipping quote.

if he can make a front skid plate that works with it for sure as well, othe than the trd ones (which i hear arenot for serious off road anyway) that would be great as well. since you guys can make for so much less than the competition, its goes to show, if you buildit, we will buy.
