I'm gonna do Shoe the weekend of 8/23 with the wife. Any advice or other trails around there? Best place to tent camp?

Figured I'd ask in here before I buy some. Anyone got q127 and q128 clips for yakima towers they don't need? Ill buy em from ya. Also top hats from stock suspension? Need them too

 

so an update on the sliders... bad news... so the angles were welded on to the sliders last week and last night tried to mount the sliders and weld them. once we got them up on the frame and held by c clamps, there were gaps everywhere where the angles werent sitting flush with the frame. Gaps big enough to stick your finger in. so last night the decision was made to take them off and not to try to weld them because i'd rather not leave anything open for water to get into. So i really have no options other than to sell my chrome steps and see if i can get enough for famous fabrications plate that they make for their sliders that will line up to my bolts, just would need to chop the sliders and mount that, or get rid of both the chrome steps and sliders and just buy new.. i am open to any opinions, even scrapping the whole idea and putting the chrome back on is a last resort. since this idea didnt work, i'd almost rather just go bolt on because im tired of problems.

 

ratchet strap the sliders so it pulls them closer to the frame then weld. its what had to be done to mine to get it done right

 

well its like they are cantered instead of being ______ they are __ / ___ lol, its like they are kicked out

its like where the tubes were cut to put on the angles wasnt a straight cut.

Nah, saw them today...whomever welded the feet on them did them jacked up! Burry did mine and did a GREAT JOB!
