You haven't seen the poured walls around here.

Heard a float plane went missing out your way, you survive the landing?

    The concept of block sucks

Sounds like you have pretty poor level of craftsmanship in your area judging by your comments on it , lol

They found the plane , 2 dead , 4 survivors

Probably not the case , you should expect things to be done correctly and it sounds like they aren't very often

My boss sent it out not too long ago for calibration. I did check it on this foundation though to make sure it was good. I went around using the LL and marked any locations that were off and put a measurement at that spot. Then I set up a self levelling spot laser on my reference point and we went around and checked the measurements again. We were +/- 1/16th of an inch from the LL

Good morning all. Finally back home with a little free time today. I am back on my nutrition plan and heading off to the gym in a few minutes.

All this construction talk makes we want to speed up the resealing the driveway this coming week. My son edged the driveway back past the asphalt late yesterday. I will fill in the cracks today with a crack sealer after using the compressor to blow out the sand and dirt from the cracks. I may want to take 2 days to do this task just to have a smooth surface before sealing. None of the cracks are large but I go have a gouge from the lift gate on the landscaping companies truck.

Hope my bad electronics luck is behind me. I have spent a decent 4 to 5 hours on tech support to try and fix problems. Our 2009 TV, SONY, had a bad LCD panel and the replacement TV should be here this week. Replaced under warranty by SONY. Our Canon printer will not print magenta colors and a replacement printer should be here next week. Replaced under warranty by Canon. Both items at no cost to me. The plumber comes on Monday to replace the garbage disposal. I looked at doing the job myself but all the plumbing is PVC and has been in place for 18 years. I just do not want the hassle of multiple trips to Home Depot to find parts that fit.

On a positive side note the low voltage wall washer lamps I ordered were waiting for me when I returned from Michigan. They are installed and working. The front of the house is now fully illuminated the way I want it to be.

The self alignment can be off sometimes.

correct me if I'm wrong, if the self alignment is off the laser would still shoot a straight line, just out of level.
