I was hoping someone could help me out, I have a strange raddle when I hit a bump or something, I really cant figure out what it could be. Im guessing the skid plate, Bc of the diif drop. Its really close, about touching it. But really dont know if that could be it. Has anybody had this happen with a 3" spacer lift? Any help appreciated!

Could even be possible for the skid plate to be rattling agains the diff drop?

try pushing in on parts of the skidplate. if it moves a bit, you may want to put a small spacer in to get it away from what its hitting. also, do you have nerf bars?? if so, check the mounting plates on them......could be hitting the frame a bit. let us know what you find.

Thanks for the posts, I will check things out this weekend, See what I find. But If It is the skid plate, do you know where I can find or get some spacers?

actually, you can use a few washers or so, but look at lowes/home depot, where they have nuts/bolts bins and they may have some type of spacers there.

Well I looked at my skid plate and It is up tight to the diff drop, But its not loose. Its up tight and I really dont think that could be it. Could the suspension shocks and coils be rattling when I hit a bump? Any Help appreciated!

Have you had the raddle ever since the lift ? If not I would take it back and ask them to re-check everything. I think this would be wise after any kind of lift installation anyway.

some times the 3" coil spacer lifts can cause the top of the spindle to hit the coil just barely... usually going over low speed large bump like speed bump... you can grind the little point off the top of the spindle

Sounds like that could be the problem. Im having my rear 3" block taken out and putting my AAL's/1" spacer in soon. I will have them look into it, see if they find anything. Could this cause any serious problems? should I be worried in the mean time.

Maybe the spare tire ? Does the exhaust have any heat shields ? maybe an exhaust pipe hanger ?

the coil hitting isnt any type of dangerous or harmful thing...its annoying though... I got lucky with mine and they clear but V6 trucks have slightly thicker coils so they can contact alittle more
