Nice dogs, Dave. I don't know if you've ever owned a Husky before, but make sure you run them daily! They get cabin fever easily which usually means they find things to keep them occupied (usually things you don't want them doing). My co-worker has a few Huskies and he ties them in a harness and lets them drag old tires around his yard. They were bred to pull and love it! Good luck with the new pooch.

I took Hilux for a run this morning around 6:15 logged about 4 miles and I was tired the dog wanted more. Trying to make a run for them on the property but the normal run at pet smart is rated for 80 pounds which these guys are around but they are hyper and I feel they'll get loose. Skyline won't leave the yard alone, but if they are together outside they'll leavd

Why don't we have manual hubs? They're fun!

I just rebuilt some in 30 minutes

Because Americans in general are too stupid and lazy to figure out manual hubs so instead we get the overly complicated, expensive and malfunction-prone ADD system.

If my truck had manual hubs, I would be able to swap in an FJ t-case and then I could be happy with my life. But no, instead I have to get a fucking atlas box in order to have a manually shifted t-case

I have a question for you guys. I am going to upgrade my wheels from stock steel to alloys. What do you do about the TPMS situation ? The TPMS on steel wheels will not work on alloys. Just get regular valves ? Thanks for your ideas.

Yep, the same company that sells parts for the solid axle swap :)

Haven't heard of a direct swap in yet but it'd be a neat idea.

You can use regular valves and either deal with the TPMS light being on, cover the light or pull the LED out of the dash cluster. If you don't want the light on, you can put the sensors in a wheel barrel tire or make a PVC pressure vessel to keep the sensors happy.

Some people have had luck putting the steel sensors in alloy wheels by twisting the sensors 180 degrees. Seems to be hit or miss whether the shop can make it work or not though...

Last option is wheel straps. They strap the sensors to the main part of the wheel so they're still active and then you just use regular valves for filling.

I put them in my alloys. Or, you can leave them out and have the dealer turn off the dash light. I know they can because I didn't run them for awhile and my dealer turned it off. Point being this: don't waste any money on that bullshit if it won't easily work.
