can someone google map the entrance to oriflame canyon for me. All the books, and websites are telling me the entrance is off s2, never been and would like to check it out.

I should be more clear I know where the s2 entrance is I want the opposite one, I wanna start in the mountains and drop into the desert. I've searched and all I got were hiking trails off sunrise highway, not sure if that's the trail as well?

Actually andrew if you go down Banner grade the mountain entrance is right across the street from Banner store on the hairpin corner, if you look to the right you'll see a dirt road that looks like it goes into someones house but it doesn't (just goes by its side) go up that dirt driveway lookin thing & you'll see its an actual road, there will be a closed gate there, but thats cool because its always unlocked (but made to look like it is) just go thru the gate & leave it like you found it, theres active mining claims along the way but I'm telling you now, DONT STOP STAY ON ROAD !! I'm as serious about this as they are about their claim site & they wont hesitate to pull iron if they think your up to no good...& the cops WILL back their play, once you get past that a couple miles its pretty wide open, def. worth the drive tho'...

 

Yea, minors are no joke. Cops take that shit seriously.
