After thinking about it for two days, today I traded my 2012 SR5 4-banger for a 2014 Chevy Silverado LTZ. Trade-in value was close to what I paid for it 22 months ago. I had a good ride from the Taco, and it didn't give me a minute of trouble; just wanted something with all the bells and whistles for once in my life.

A little of this and a little of that.
Should've thought about it for a third day.

Good luck with the new truck.

Crew Cab, 6'6" bed, leather, NAV, 5 USB plugs, 2 (ea) 110v plugs. Steering wheel telescopes out about 4 inches. Has memory settings for two drivers

I think it will continue to grow on me as I learn more about its capabilities

Honestly I like the new Chevies but they are nothing but problematic pieces of crap! I think the Tacoma has plenty of Bells and Whistles for a truck! but its your money and your truck so enjoy it since it will start falling apart soon.

My tacoma is the first (and only) thing I've ever owned with all the bells and whistles... Not alot but enough, I like that it's still a simple truck.

The new Chevys are sweet, been thinking about a 2015. I like the Tacoma, just not for travelling long distance. May just give it to my son when he turns 16 in 3 years.

WTH??? Another "sold my Tacoma" thread?

I've owned 2 Chevy trucks and both were nothing but problems.

One of the biggest pieces of shit I've ever bought with the exception of a Jeep.
This one ended up being bought back because of the "Lemon Law"

Enjoy it while it last I guess.

If I was to ditch the taco, it'd be for a raptor most likely. $$$$ though for all the whistles, and my truck has jbl/navi/rear dvd/rear inverter/cb/shell/4x4 already so other than more power and a bigger truck I don't know what it would give me for features. (yes, I have a bed light in the shell.. no I don't need heated mirrors in SoCal..)

Hmmm, I'm just going the other way.

Selling my 2500HD to go back to Toyota. We'll see tomorrow what kinda trade I can get from 'the dealer.'

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
It should be better than the Chevy Volt. [IMG]

I can't say I haven't considered trading the Taco for a Tundra, but Chevys don't tempt me in the least.

T-7 is on the scene of a one story single family residence with visible flames showing from the garage. T-7 will be in command. A-Side will be T-7's location. Next due Engine company bring me a 5" line. Deploy two 1"3/4 lines. one for fire attack and one for "D" side exposure protection. T-7 will be setting up ventilation and making a primary search for the dumbass that bought a Volt.
