anyone know if you can drive up Milk Ranch road up in cuyamaca? I pass by it every time I go to the desert and forget to stop by on the way home. Im scouting potential spots to enjoy the snow while avoiding all the Mexicans, and their stuck mini vans.

the road will take you to the top of Cuyamaca peak which looks absolutely amazing. There is no way in hell id ever hike in the snow to reach it, driving is my only option ahahah

only vehicles i see going through that gate are state park trucks and vans. popular spot for horseback riding

 

we just graded that shoulder on thursday and i rode there on chrisseys 300 and all the gravel is kicked up on the road thanks to jack asses cutting the turn to tight,

 

damn so there's a gate further up? I guess its worth a looksy. Middle peak fire road is my next option. and if that doesn't work i'll have to check out the mason valley truck trial hopefully the gate isn't locked.

Is it pretty easy to apply?

 

Just got back from LA, went to 2 birthday parties, had to take a fryer to one so we took my truck, on the way up and down we filled up at the shell in temecula, got 19.2 MPG, not bad considering dad and i are both fairly aggressive drivers, and we aren't economy minded drivers.

On another note, I ride the Rincon trail yesterday, holy fuck...
Gotta be one of the hardest trails in SoCal and I have ridden everywhere.
It was fucking ridiculous, I fell off of a 15' cliff at the beginning and wore myself out trying to get back up to the trail, first mistake (We had 3 hours to go to the half way point!!)
All in all 37 miles in 8.5 hours, yeah its that hard! I can barely move right now.

But we conquered that mother!!!

A couple of things that made this MUCH MUCH more difficult was the fact that it was 104 degrees (you gotta be kidding!) and I didnt bother to get a new rear tire and ran my current one which is down to about 1/3 of the knobbies original height.
Lets just say when I saw the truck after the 8.5 hour ride It was orgasmic, lol..pretty proud of my group, me and 3 other racers made the Rincon, and we rode UP it!!! And back down.
However both directions go over 4 huge mountains. So Gnarly I cant even explain how hard it was, one could easily die out there and I am not exaggerating one bit.

Hey, any of you guys have a set of 4 tire pressure sensors that are not that old that you're not using or don't want? Let me know. I finally had one go bad. So I'm thinking of replacing all 4 at once. I'd be willing to make an offer. Giving them away is just unheard of.
