From what I hear, it is a common occurrence. But I do believe my actions will result in his termination. If not, this guys rocking an early 90's ranger single cab, red and lifted. Looks like garbage. Huge eternal decal on his hood. I may have to tip his shit over.

Lol, yea don't do that. I'd walk up to him as he is going to the truck and say "those tires look awfully familiar. Oh I guess they weren't trashed an abused." Then watch him stmble over his words as he tries to come up with an excuse. In the end he'll get his. Like I said before karma is a bitch.

    No prob.

We should start a thread eary next spring that way more people will have the oppertunity to request days off, or just plan for it in general. It would be awesome if we could get our own day, rather than being blamed for the cruisers eff-ups.

Yeah, if we could get enough interest we could try to get one of the middle days as a group.

Alright, Matt and I had a great run yesterday down at slickrock, now I want to plan another trip in about a month.
I'm thinking we head up to Gold Lake and camp for a night (well probably 2 if anyone wants to join me, I'll head up friday and get us a spot to camp) and theres plenty of wheeling in the mountains right off the 4x4 trail at the camp. I'm thinking middle to end of september sometime. For those that have never been, Gold Lake is about an hour north of Truckee to give you an idea of location.

Who would be interested in coming on the trip?

I'd say you'd want a 4x4 with 3" lift/33's and sliders to be safe, and keeping in mind that if you take a bad line through an obstacle that there is a possibility of hitting stuff under the truck or scraping/bashing stock bumpers.

If we can nail down an exact date so I can request it off I'm down. Still so bummed I missed slick rock.

But a month is plenty of time to have the days requested off for sure:cool:

How about we just say the weekend of the 21st/22nd.

The last weekend of the month is my Bday weekend, so doing the trip the weekend before would probably be great. And that gives everyone a solid month to plan/get the time off. :)

PS- slickrock was a little more chewed up than last time we ran it. You would have had smashed up stock bumpers for sure after running it yesterday. Matt and I were both hitting our fronts and sliders on stuff, and the rears came damn close to hitting boulders on several occasions.

I'm in Washington the 19th and 20th, flying back to Reno early morning 21st so I could possibly cruise up Saturday morning and stay the day/night.
