    Ok so my usual Sunday routine is to watch The Speed Report on the Speed Channel to catch up on the racing I missed. Well, Speed Channel is gone and replaced by Fox Sports 1. From what I know all of the great programs on Speed are gone. What the hell! No more Barrett Jackson or MOTOGP coverage. This sucks!

    Fox had a 1/3 buy in of Speedvison in 2001 and negotiated for rights held by Cox and Comcast at the time which gave them majority control of the programming and the channel. This should come as no surprise. Speed has been going downhill since 2001.

    The main reason I watched speed was for The Speed Report, MOTOGP, Barrett Jackson (Just so I can fantasy bid.) and Gearz. If there was nothing on I would usually hit up Speed Channel. I do miss the live F1 coverage, but because most of the races were aired at 2 AM I would just watch the hightlights on The Speed Report.

    I was also very pissed when fuel tv basically gave up every action sports show and showed only UFC fighting. FUEL was my favorite channel, now its crap

    Like someone said, Speed has been dying a slow and agonizing death since getting bought by Fox over a decade ago. I got tired of all the auction stuff, NASCAR, and stupid "reality" show or fixer-upper shows. Sort of like MTV, Speed showed almost nothing of what it was supposed to show--which was a wide variety of motorsports. I'm glad F1 moved over to NBC since they're actually doing a good job with it so far, and I hope MotoGP moves there as well.

    Directv has a channel called "Velocity" now. I'm not sure how long it's been part of the lineup but Barret Jackson, and Mecum are on there now....it might have racing coverage too. Check it out.
