If you're going to take the suspension plunge just go all in with the full OME setup.

I'm not at all certain the truck will run very well if you install the S/C at home and try to drive to the dealership for a flash. I can see it running very very lean for the trip, as well as the ECU throwing codes left and right.

Maybe the dealership will install it and you get some warranty benefits?

Ya I wasn't sure about this. How do people do it then when they install it on their own? Just drive slow and stay out of boost?

    Anybody know for sure?

How much did the kit run?

One reason I didn't mind mixing brands is due to how well liked the billies are.

I bought the full kit for just under $1k on Amazon, free shipping. Had to order the rear bushings separate. Paid for the assembly of the struts and alignment. Saved a few hundred.

From what I recall he was doing boost before anyone had even done R&D on the 4.0. He started with turbos, but I'm sure he knows S/C or can get you in touch with the right people.

    No need.
    You're fine
OE seat belts don't suck. Long travel guys run harnesses because the are doing movements that a factory tacoma wouldn't normally do. OE seat belts are for front, rear, side and god forbid roll over accidents. Not to catch air in the desert.
the only thing slotted rotors will do is lessen the life of his pads.

That's a side effect. Full disclosure- they do brake better.

Slotted rotors take away from the pads surface contact, shorten the pad life and crack a lot easier than blanks. DO NOT WORK. sorry.
