Thanks...Probably going to a local member's shop to get a notch cutout real quick. Not going to put on the trans or T-case skid until I get my Icon's anyway, but want to get it ready regardless.

Marc just read through your whole thread. Looks great! I think if I get the heavier coil I might be able to live without the sway bar. Sub'd

Thanks man! Ya, shoulda had you drive it with the 700 pound coils on it while you were down here... They definitely make it livable, but no amount of coil weight will replace the saftey the sway bar can offer. Safe to say whatever runs into the road i'm gonna plow into because id be scared of what might happen if I go for an avoidance swerve... Which you should never really do anyways i guess (especially with an RTT). But since I dont have a front locker I need all the articulation I can get for off road crawl grip and it also really smoothens out the ride.

Side note, this front bumper thing is way to hard to decide... I never ran into clearance issues on shoshone which I'll likely not hit much trail harder than that and i'm not gonna buy a bumper just so I can hit more in moab... Plus I like the weight on the 700 pounders as is, I dont really feel like adding more... Advice anyone? At the moment if i were to go with a front plate bumper it'd be a bruteforce or pelfreybilt.

Pelfrey...That's what I would get if I could do it again.

I would go with Bruteforce. Wish had before I got the Demello. His work is really great, and if you talk with him he'll customize it however you want. Also the added assurance of having a winch up front is always comforting.

Gonna think about the bumper seriously this week... Thanks for the input. Having the peace of mind in a winch would be pretty nice. Got out today to run some rounds through my pistol and found a decent spot to flex out. I was tetering on two in all the pictures. The driver front and passenger rear are just touching barely. The passenger front was into the bump about half an inch and under more load would stuff up probably another inch. Rear passenger had another half inch to inch in it I think (didn't have a tape on me).

Yes, the 700# coils went on a week ago after I put on full belly skids. Honestly i'm nervous to put a full plate bumper/winch on since the 700 pounds ride so well with just the skids... Went out and beat on it good tonight on some good WY middle of nowhere roads and it drove great! Grabbed the resi on the front and it was burning hot! front and rear are setup pretty even for low speed and mid speed. When I get out of third into fourth gear then the rear starts falling behind, need more uptravel back there! Not bad though considering there's a tent back there :D

Thanks Patrick, I try to keep it neat and tidy... But I love gettn out and flogging it so it's a constant battle. It's still so new, even at 21k miles. It'l be a year next month!

Go big or go home :D Honestly, I don't think there is a reason not to get 700# coils even if you just have a plate bumper up front...and you have one plus a winch.

I agree. And somewhere down the road I will have full skids, LCA skids, lights, dual battery, all that shit so why not get 700lb coils. I'm not concerned about the ride cause its a truck!

I'm thinking of going the 700 lb route. Especially after I add skids.

yea its a good idea man. Pretty cheap upgrade that really helps, especially where you have the plate bumper and winch, you could use them already im sure. How much extra weight does the supercharger add to the front end? Probably not that much but curious.
