I've not used lightroom so I can't compare. Elements is plenty powerful for everything I do.

Elements is for photography, premiere is for video editing. I don't think you can compare lightroom to premiere. Lightroom is only for photography I think.

 

ah gotcha..well i wouldn't mind having video too..hmmm..ill do more research. bed time for me..im dead.

 

Lightroom is great. Ive had Lightroom v3.4 for a couple years now. Very useful once you get to know it, im still learning things all the time. But theres things you cant do in LR so photoshop is still needed sometimes. I dont like how you cant add square borders to your pictures

My old roommate had Premier on his Mac. I got to use it a couple times when he was editing a film he made(which i starred in)

The catch is good luck finding an '09-'11 TRD sport in the junkyard... and it damaged several different harnesses. Have you ever pulled that kick panel out on your dad's Taco? There are at least 1000 wires in that one spot, probably more.

 

no there isn't. two harnesses. Engine and then fuse/mangement. He only would have damaged the fuse box one.

oh i have also seen mine..

really not that bad. just a bunch of plugs. Time consuming. But not impossible. why id have made the guy who burned it install it as you would have to rip the entire dash off to do it. take 2-3 days at least. thats a lot of labor. so he would lose lots of money by doing it as he can't do multiple things at once.

just what i would have done.

And yes im almost certain he could find a harness for it. even if he bought a brand new one for 2k still would have been cheaper.

 

He quit counting when he hit $6k in harnesses and started looking into insurance though.

 

yup 6k in harnesses, every compenent in the dash is toast, gauge cluster melted, airbag module damaged, head liner fucked, a pillar fucked, wires going to the steering wheel melted. After sitting down and going through TIS, I have a very very very very Unique wiring harness and ONLY a DCLB 2011 TRD Sport with tow package will work truck has to have been manufactured during 06/2010 to 06/2011

trust me I bought a TIS for a year as i had full intentions on just fixing this, but when the airbag system showed damage that was it, insurance was called and thats where we sit


I only got insurance involved under the knowledge of buying back my truck..... and when the wife of the guy working on my truck says she wont pay a penny to fix it, thats why they have insurance, there was nothing I could do......

and 6k was wiring, no dash accesories, no nothing....

even if I got the harnesses new from toyota, they couldnt even guarantee when i'd get it

and ultimately IM NOT PAYING for someone elses mistake, and last thing im doing is going after him for it

 

also lets face the music, even I bought the truck back im getting what 5 to 6k back in return value atm???

front suspension set-up probably 2500 ish, another 1k ish for the rear

im thinking i get 1500 front + 1200 rear for gears and lockers people are too fucking cheap on this site

rear bumper is probably around a 1000

its all good im hoping to know more today,


as of now I still have my rims and tires, I still have the bed rack, the tent all recovery gear

 

He's been looking into older 4runners and pickups instead of another Taco actually. Oh and that RHD Hilux.

It sucks and it's expensive but it seems it would be better in the long run to just find a taco with a blown up motor then build it using your taco keep the second Gen stuff you already started.

Or find a wrecked 4 door and just jack everything out of it that you need.. the body and frames are the same just all the other little options.. Losts of work though. Time or money it's up to you.
