I'm sure if the OP has been on this forum or any other for a while he should know what he was getting himself into with his post. Same thing with his purchase. If he is 68 years old he should know by now what he is getting himself into with what he buys. Like he said he has had many cars over the years and had his share of maintinence. So us haters bashing his choice shouldn't matter to him. It's to be expected. It's not a big secret what Chevy's reputation is. He made the choice that suits him right now and gives him peace of mind. But yeah, haters gonna hate. It's a Toyota forum. People buy Toyotas because they are the opposite of Chevy.

gee some of you folks are bunch crybabies.. cant ya give that 68 yrs old man some respect???? he not bashing about the taco or doing any braging rights on the new chevy.. or dodge or what ever. Everybody have the right to say in here.. even a light punching of sense of humor is FINE! but some folks went overboard. I like chevy also.. but I am not sure the issue that chevy having. I know ford got tons problems with the eco engines. Dodge.. only is good is thier deisel . so there is no need to get all negtive on it.

Good for you OP. A few years ago when I finally landed a normal job making good money I too wanted a car with features and reliability I have never had before. Got a year old sedan, new, from the dealer for a great price. I loved it but I ended up not using most of the features because it didn't fit my lifestyle. Sounds like you found something that will make you more comfortable and happy. That's what its all about. I am sure one day I will have different needs and wants as well.

Its just ridiculous when you see 2 or 3 of these threads pop up in a week, for no purpose than to just say, bought a new vehicle, see ya, or "my Tacoma was too small, bye."

We have a newbie section to clean up newbie topics and introductions, now we should make a section titled "The Exit Door" for everyone who posts this type of stuff.
