    nothing substantial. still on business travel, so time/space/tools are limited. redoing the y-pipe that i crushed a couple weeks ago, and got a URD MAF calibrator coming in the mail today.

    Nice does the URD thing add any HP's.

    Been looking at winches but not sure which one to go with.

    Supposedly adds some. gadget's description on their site claims they've gotten up to 15 out of stock vehicles, and potentially more out of ones with intakes etc. obviously more with superchargers. i got it more to make sure my motor stays healthy with the new intake and snorkel. lots of reports of engines running lean with aftermarket intakes, so this should correct that.

    you narrowed the winch selection down any?

    you should get in on this if it happens

    nice, i think 10k is really the way to go with these trucks. 8-9k really slows down under load, and 12k can get to be a pretty heavy winch

    Very much agree cause my truck is le lardo and i am guessing your is to. I weight my couple month ago it was 5200 lbs :eek:

    With a winch you are supposed to double your weight correct??

    Is there any other factors i need to look at?

    generally it's about double, with some widdle room on either side.

    as far as other factors, getting winch is the "easy part". a winch is pretty useless without the right accessories. stock up on all the extra goodies you can, and come winching time, your life will be a lot easier.

    extra extra shackles, extra straps, at least one snatch block, and i really like the in-cab controls. it's so much easier than stringing the remote across the hood.
