Wheels and tires!

 

Saw a rather well built silver taco with a camper, front and rear bumpers, 3" and tires, and a shit ton of stickers parked halfway up on the curb at the athletic center at Lee univ, anyone's on here?

Majorly. I chuckled as I ran past. For a second, I thought to myself "douche", but then I realized I could see myself doing the same...and I'm sure more than a few have muttered to themselves that exact word in reference to my rig.

 

x2 i have done it. i have made my own parking spot before in the grass.

I chuckle and look to see if you can tell if it goes off road or not.

 

Drive seven hours to come home today. And the A/C is broken. Awesome

Since we have all these new knox people. Someone has to be wanting to ditch their factory hitch

 

I got the truck at Serra Toyota in Tuscaloosa. It sat on the lot about 40 hours total between somebody trading it in and me buying it. They didn't even detail it before I drove it, it still had candy wrappers in it.

But they cleaned it up and it looked great so I signed the paper work. The floor mats are quite worn for 50k miles. But I want weathertechs anyway so no biggie. They threw in four new cleats for the bed rails as they were all missing.

 

Forgot to ask earlier. One of my repo guys got a call in Friday night to service a wreck for KSD. Well it happened to be a 2008 tacoma flip over completely destroyed truck. He called me today and told me it was a 2wd off road. I am going saturday to look at it and see what is still useful. If it really is a TRD o/r and has the rear locking diff. What besides the rear chunk and button/wires do I need. Said owners already came out a looked at it. Said they didn't have insurance. He told me after everything is done with KSD paperwork. I can have whatever I want for the tow bill which is basically 150.00-200.00.

 

I think it is quite a bit of stuff, switch, wiring, maybe best to just swap the whole axles out, drop yours and put the one with locker in. where was the wreck? I may know the officers.

I was going to pull the whole rear end and take the wiring as far as I could and the button. Of course that is if it is all there and really a o/r edition. If the tranny isn't botched up I may take it too. i mean for 200 get a rear diff and tranny. heck of a deal.
