    Perhaps he can elaborate...I haven't lost too many MPGs on the highway with the 255s but in town suffered. Just don't want to take a hit in the highway too bad...Linwood...

    Nah, I think it was all in my head....the MTRs is what killed my MPGs....most gain MPGs with the snorkel...

    I had the opposite effect. I get better in town than on the highway/back country.

    Look at ColinB17's build. He did a snorkel and CAI combo, I may look into that to free up some space under the hood.

    Thats the auto vs manual part there. Plus I have a lead foot in town...I still get near 20 on the highway...15 or 16 in town.

    19 is the best I've been able to get on the highway. But that's also just with a bed cover and no shell :cool: (another thing on the short list).

    My gas mileage with the shell is better than open bed that's for sure. Even with the extra weight.

    Yup mine too. That's why stuff like shock towers just don't make sense.

    I don't want to loose to much on road manners. She already handles like she's drunk with no front sway bar. Besides I love seeing nice off road capable trucks cruising the highway at 75...
