I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I thought they said boats were just a hole in the water that you throw money into.

Anyone here an electrician or good with household electrics? I have a question regarding the house I just bought and how to properly remove a line.

The previous owners had a pool at one time in the early 80's - it was fed by an exterior power line buried underground (unprotected) to an outdoor electrical outlet that was just sitting on the grass. The line was dead when I bought the house and the breaker in the control box labeled "POOL" is a GFCI breaker. Nothing else in the house has a GFCI outlet, nothing in the bathrooms or kitchen (noted on home inspection).

I am currently replacing all of the outlets and trying to clean up the house which leaves me with the proper removal of the old pool outlet. The wire comes out of the control box and through a junction box on the exterior wall, down a metal conduit underground then runs completely unprotected about 50' to the back yard. In the junction box there are two wires, one goes back to the old pool outlet, and the other runs to the front yard to a light fixture by the driveway (do not appear to be on same fuse). I know which one goes to which, and my plan was to cut the pool wire at the junction box and cap the wires individually, pull the now cut wire downwards through the conduit and begin to pull it out from there, leaving me with a set of capped wires if needed in the future.

The concern I have though is it appears that one of the electrical outlets in the kitchen is also fed by the GFCI breaker in the basement (only labeled "POOL"). I reset the breaker to see what would happen and it immediately tripped again which provided momentary power to the kitchen outlet -which is now powerless again. When I take the panel off the CB, no other wires are directly piggybacked into the GFCI breaker; does this mean I probably have a tapped wire somewhere before the junction box?

If the wire is tapped before splitting off to the old pool outlet and the kitchen outlet (not sure which one was originally the main run), would just capping off the pool outlet wires in the junction box lead to trouble seeing as it may be energized for the kitchen? If this is the case, my plan MAY be to try and find the piggyback and straight remove the old pool wires, replace the GFCI breaker with a standard 15A breaker and just use a GFCI outlet on the first location in the kitchen series.

Thanks for any input - I am seeing if I can figure this out before calling an electrician; I know enough about wiring and electical, but from what I have encountered to date, it wouldn't suprise me to see completely opposite ends of the house on the same fuse.

So i was at the marina yesterday and a box truck shows up with a huge plywood box, it was something a customer ordered. We pulled it out with the fork truck and opened up the box to see what it was, this is what was in there.

I keep trying to tell my brother that. He's such a fucking dumbass sometimes. He'll spend 3 weekends on it a year, and the rest of the time throwing huge sums of money at it.

I'd rather have a separate jet ski and a separate quad. That quad ski is way too wide for normal trails, and it's not as slender and fun as a normal jet ski

They also better provide a "full service" masseuse while you wait for the service to be completed for that price

Free is always better  just ask the people who carried away my old donut spare after last weekend's garage sale  (full disclosure--I left it by the curb w/ a "free" sign by it)

My wife and son are out playing in the front yard. Their (neighbors) two delinquent sons are out playing, and verbally belittling my child across the street because he makes baby sounds (most children at 20 months do). Wife packs up and takes son inside. Wife tells me, I tell her that I'd chew their little asses, wife is mad at me because they are "only kids". I tell her she either says something to the parents, or will have to come inside every time those two degenerates are out. I'm pissed because my wife and son have the right to play in the yard without hearing shit from two little losers. I tell her if she wants to retreat, I don't want to hear her complain about it.

If I had my druthers, I'd execute all three generations of white trash. This isn't the first time we've had problems with them. I've already had to go over there once because the littler asshole flashed my wife.
