RAM 1500 gets V6 Eco diesel for 2014

I hope they are successful! Small diesels are everywhere in Europe and would add significantly to the capability of our small trucks.

 

Seriously? A 5.0 liter V8 diesel in a half-ton? Won't be nearly as efficient as the I-4 they had done the feasibility test on.

 

Maybe Frontier can still get that one?

 

I hope Nissan builds a beefed up front end to hold that 5.0 Cummins and that is going to hurt ram sales a lot since most people will go to the titan for half ton now

 

Dodge has sold a lot of these trucks pre ordered. I went to Europe recently and so many diesel options. I think we are in the time of change for american cars & trucks. 25k for a chevy cruze diesel car with 40mpg, I also just saw a tesla parked on the side of highway most likely ran out of power. The torque and mileage is addicting. I love my truck but as soon as tacoma makes the leap its sold. If they make me wait to long yota will lose a customer.
