I don't mind leaving early but I know nothing about where we are going and prefer to have something to do when I get there.
I doubt Justin will leave that early either.

It's a fairly easy place to get to. especially with taking the 99 route down to stockton. I've take the back roads down there (through jackson highway and the hills).

It's just up highway 4 past Arnold/Bear Valley. pretty straight shot. As far as the exact camp ground, I'm with you. I've never neen there. I stayed at one two months ago that was on the other side of the river from Slick Rock and it was pretty sweet.

It's a pretty easy place to navigate through.

Yeah I get off at 0700 Friday so I dont mind staying up and driving but my +1 won't get off until 3 or 4. I could make the caravan in stockton by 1800 but from looking at a map it seems pretty out of the way. But I'll look and get back to you all in a few

Well If I end up going for sure, You, Brian, Greg and I could caravan from sac. Not sure if anyone else in the Sac area would rather take the stockton route or the backroads. The stockton route is quicker, as its most freeway/highway. The back roads are twisties through the foothills.

So I looked into it and stockton isn't really out of the way unless we take the twists and turns then that's a different story. So Ted either way is good with me.

I am going 16, 49 and picking up 4 in Angels camp. It is the fastest route from Sacramento. I do the drive almost once a month.

I was looking at that. Seems much quicker than what Google Maps advises. I like it.

Its easy cause you don't hit much traffic. You may get a slow driver, but there are some nice straigh aways :burnrubber: :anonymous:

Yea it saves about 20+ miles and if you know the roads it can save up to 45 mins. The Cops are dicks in the little towns so watch your speeds in like Jackson, angels and San Andreas

If you hit it at the right time or won't see any cars especially on Sunday if you get going after 2pm
