I own a 2002 4-door V6 4x4 Tacoma and the rear U-joint needs to be replaced. Should I replace all U-joints and how many are there? Also what brand is the best bang for the buck? Thanks

The rear most one is usually the first to go. As long as all of the other u joints are quiet and grease oozes of all 4 ends when you give them grease, you should be good to go.

Get moog or oem u joints for best quality.

Thanks man, Alaska, wow. Never been even though my grandfather Leo O'Brien was the congressman who led the fight to make Alaska and Hawaii a state. I will someday have to visit both. Again thanks. By the way, where in Alaska are you?

No problem. Hope you got your joint swapped out alright.

I'm in Anchorage. This summer was exceptional this year, tons of warm sunny days :D Hope you get to make it up here one of these days.
