Something doesn't make sense here. If the coil springs are shot wouldn't the truck sag all the time, not just when the 5100's raise the coils? If you raise the spring perch 1.75" it should raise the front of the truck close to 1.75". If he said it was 1.5 or so, OK, maybe but 1"?

What is your measurement from center of rim to fender? Post the measurement, so we can compare.

Take a picture of your set-up and post please.

My son's '07 DCSB Sport 4x4 w/ 5100's set at 0.85" measures ~ 21.75" center of rim to fender. My '12 DCSB OR 4x4 w/ 5100's set to 0" w/ Eibach coils measures ~22.5" center of rim to fender. The Eibach/5100 set at 0" set up is supposed to give 1.6" lift.

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
OP, this is strange. These guesses all seem logical. But if it were my truck and I put a shock on that said it would lift 1.75" then that's what I would expect. Since you have a 2009 I doubt the coils are shot, unless you Offroad quite often or carry loads?

My guess is the shop did something wrong. Did they put them on the correct notch? When you bought the billies, how many notches were on the shock body? Should be 4.
Can you take pics of both sides so we can all take a look and see how it's set up?

sry my pics aren't going through anymore but I was really looking at it good. I can see the top line which is the 2.5'' line and the second line down from the top is just barely showing. but it is visible. does that mean its on the .85'' setting? if it was set to the 1.75'' setting, should I or should I not be able to see the line?

You shouldn't see the line that it is set on because there is a ring in it to hold the spring perch up. If you see the top 2 lines and can see the bottom ring, then your on the .85". Or whatever the setting is for above 0". I don't remember the increments.

Exactly, the line the coil seat plate rests on should not be visible, if you can see 2 lines then your clip is set on the 2nd notch which is the .85" setting.

I know OR coils preload differently because of the progessive rate. I see the top 3 coils are quite close togeather. Also, is it possible they screwed something up with the top rubber bushings? I can't tell from the pics nor do I know second gens that well.

thank you for just confirming its on the wrong setting. I can see 2 lines above the spring perch. so its on the .85'' setting. looks like im calling that shop on Monday. they warrantee all there work so they will do it for free. am I gonna need another alignment to go up one more setting?

On a positive note, you got more than the .85". And yes, it would be a good idea to realign.

Unfortunately yes. Any time you mess with suspension you should be safe and get alignment.
