Gah. It has been one of those weeks. One of our Indian clients has basically broken just about everything they have touched this last week, and tried to blame us for it.

We are not quite sure what they did, but they fried a $6M piece of equipment on Monday, which in turn has spawned problems all week.

Our turnaround is bad as well. 3 night shifts (tonight being my last). Get off in the morning and go back out Friday morning. 24 hour turnarounds are the worst.

7 off? Your schedule sounds a lot like mine if you get 7 off each rotation.

No it is not that bad. You get a week off every month and if you do it right and use 4 days of pto you end up off for two weeks

I would like a schedule like that, I hate having to flip from days-nights-days-nights-then have a week off after working nights. then repeat again. My brother in law is a county sheriff and they rotate from nights and days every 3 months.

I work in a power plant. burn coal. merica :oldglory:

I like being able to use little vacation and get 2 weeks off. But I have to burn a lot up to get Christmas and Thanksgiving/deer season off. Now a days I use whats left for my night shifts during the weekend before the 7 off.
