    Hi all!

    I have a 2 inch lift and was wondering if a 285 75 16 would rub?

    I am currently running 275 70 18 and I am fine...

    Thanks!

They're basically the same height and width wise so if you're not rubbing now then you probably not going to rub with the new tires.

I just purchased the TRD Field Trail rims and I think it has BS of 4.5? I have been researching on the forums and find conflicting information...Some people dont rub and some people do running this tire size...

Also what are people trimming to make this fit, some say the plastic pieces?

    Thanks!

You'll rub. Cab mount chop, and some plastic trimming will fix all street rubbage though, if you are going to be stuffing the tires offroad, then that's a little more work.

I run with 285/75/16 with a 2.5 inch with add a leaf in the back. I rarely rub, but yet i don't do anything too crazy.

You find conflicting answers because people buy different tires. There is probably a 1" difference in diameter and .5" difference in width from a light AT tire to a heavy MT tire.
