That was awesome! Man that 4wd sure helps with the great comebacks, it's like 5-hour energy for Canadians. 4wd is useless 99.9% of the time around here & if I REALLY NEED IT (which I haven't) I got friends that's why I didn't have to get one. Makes sense AYE!

Because I have the right to be in any thread I choose, & voice my opinion where I choose. You know, kinda like you guys do when thinking there is no reason on earth for a 2wd truck. It's your opinion, & if you can voice yours then I can voice mine. Saying a 4wd is more capable then 2wd is legit, saying 2wd has no purpose or reason to exist is ignorant.

Well your just buying a less capable truck witch is a fact that you are not willing to accept somedays I don't need a jacket it doesn't mean I'm better of without it.

 

I didn't vote for either one because I'm not in Canada but I'm pretty good with geography & realize 4wd would be useful there, that's not the argument. I stated that it would be worth having THERE but not necessary everywhere. As far as comparing 4wd to a jacket, my opinion on that would be it's a horrible comparison since I would be wearing a jacket half of the year & using 4wd NEVER.

Buying a 2wd truck is like having sex with your clothes on, it's ok but not near as much fun.

I live in a rural community, buying a 2WD is literally useless. The only 2WD trucks here are owned by drug dealers who want to look cool in there 1970's Chevy 2" from the ground

 

It's not useless where I live, never had any issues whatsoever driving a 2wd Prerunner. I wish we had MORE snow MORE often so I could go do some doughnuts in it & NOT get stuck!

 

4x4 DCLB Use 4x4 all year mud, sand and snow. 2wd is fine for a in town delivery/work truck. Don't see many 2wd trucks in northern Ontario, lot of dirty 4x4's though.

 

I had 2wd f150 before was using it to tow boat and trailers in the summer. In the winter put some weight like bags of sand salt in the back for weight balance. It's definitely more challenging to drive it in the winter But I didn't get stuck or anything. Around the city is ok even winter time and you have to be super awesome champion of the world driver to drive it in the winter. Found a deal on 4wd taco so I bought it but 2wd is doable in canadian winter in the city but you have to be an awesome driver not a whinney one

 

4x4 for sure! its like insurance you never know when you need it....

8 inches of snow this morning on the way to work , no plows , no sand on the roads . FWD cars in the ditch everywhere . Ive been in 4 wheel drive for the past couple weeks and will be in 4x4 for the next 6 months . Actually feel safe until I hit the dreaded brakes and the crappy ABS system kicks in
