I wouldn't mind if I could do shit back, but my "father in law" refuses to fire them. Also I do have fairly thick skin. I can deal with it. Third time I've been threatened though and I'm getting tired of it

I sure hope you are being sarcastic. However, I think there are some things that should not be joked about.

Maybe it was the way I was raised, but the thought of some guy laying a finger on my wife/mom/grandma is unacceptable, even if they joke about it.

It's called a hostile work environment! And it is illegal!! The company can get into serious trouble along with the person threatening you! They must resolve this or pay the consequences! So don't lose your temper, your future is much brighter than the what's in store for these assholes. That's what's really bothering them! Stay cool and document EVERYTHING father in law might not be to happy though.

This. All the way. You have your entire life ahead of you. No reason to put everything at risk for some macho bullshit. These guys know you're moving on to bigger and better things that they don't have the same access to. Many Hispanics in Texas have a lot of resentment (some justified) towards Anglos. These guys are stuck where they are and are taking it out on you.

I would gather any illegal hire info you can and report once you're gone and in the Corps. :D

Go to HR(Management) if they cannot handle the situation they are therefore admitting to providing an unhealthy and unsafe workplace which in Canada is an extreme violation of the employment standards act.

I am not sure about American law but as you are joining the Marines (Congrats and thank you for your service) I suggest you don't aggravate the situation or get in any fights as it might affect your military career(I doubt it would it but you never know).

Also try laughing it off man, they are harassing you as they know they will get a reaction from you.

    Hope it gets better.

I brought in a pack of "Big Cheif" beef jerky like 2-3 days into a new job, I was called "Cheif" over the radio & in person for like 6 months. Never really bothered me but the guys laughed about it.
