How much space do you have between the side lips and the headlights? I heard that could be an issue with the 2012+ satoshis

I actually sold the truck that was pictured in the first post. It was a prerunner and I got stuck in a snow storm we had here last spring. Went straight to the dealership and ordered the exact same truck in 4x4 lol. Of course I put the satoshi on the new truck. Here's the new truck.

Not sure if we are talking about the same thing? But I told him that I wanted the mesh recessed as much as possible. When he finished it and tried to put it on the truck, the mesh was too deep into the headlights and it wouldn't fit. He just pulled it off and trimmed it a little until it fit. Only took him a few minutes. Didn't even have to do any repainting.

cool. Thats where i ordered mine.
Sorry for all the questions iam working on one myself and love yours.

Hard to tell, but is your grill bent/have bends on each side(like grillcraft and satoshi) or flush/flat on each?

You buy it pre cut and bent? or...

    Thanks,

It's flush/flat. I wish I had some pics of the building process to show you but I don't. I did not buy the mesh precut. basically he just cut the mesh out and attached it with screws. He didn't have my truck while he was working on it and when he tried to install it, the grill itself wasn't cut deep enough and the mesh hit the headlight brackets (I think that's right, it's been a while). He just took the screws out, took off the mesh, cut a little more material from the plastic part of the grill, and reattached the mesh. I watched him do the whole thing, only took him about 30 minutes. Didn't even have to repaint it! I could have never done that myself. Sorry for the lousy technical explanation...lol
