    Oh ya!

But you also won't have enough power with 4.56s so you won't be able to do any real trails anyways so...another fail safe!

So 4.88's? There are no 5.29's for the 2nd gen front diffs.
Crawlbox may be required for him. haha That or 5.29's, but I would do a crawlbox rather than regear when he already has 4.56's.

no he should regear. Offroading aint gonna be a huge issue. It'll be street driving. He will have NO power. Already barely does with 33s.

I don't think 5.29's will make a big enough difference for him on-road. Might as well get an S/C or turbo for that.

One of the guys I wheel with has a V6 auto on 34's (it's an older nissan) and he flat out has issues while wheeling. He will put the throttle to the floor and won't move because it doesn't have enough power. He was running factory gears though. I think he is doing better now that he regeared and went to 40's.

yea they would. Thats a huge jump. almost one full revolution. Its almost as much as going from 4.10s to 4.88s..

You might have missed my edit... I haven't driven his rig on or offroad so I don't really know how it feels to make a call either way though. haha

    i saw it.

and power wouldn't have helped that guy either..Maybe a bit on road. But he had no bottom end and no way of boosting is going to help that.

i drove marks truck out of Sawtooth lake a bit. There ain't much there..but 4 lo does okay. 4 hi and it wouldn't move over some stuff..period haha i stall it once on a hill. On the road is where it'll be the worst with 35s. Especially since he is going for 35x12.5s and right now he has 10.5s. Gonna be a HUGE weight increase.

No power wouldn't help for crawling, (well not as much anyway, the TRD S/C has some decent gains at 2K and my torque converter will rap up to 2K before it has to move the wheels), but a crawlbox would sure help with those power issues. I thought you meant for crawling when you brought it up originally though. haha

    Here you go Mark:

I'll just say you don't want them for 2 reasons...

1st they are 17's and you probably don't have 17's just lying around
2nd they are durafails... The lava rock around here will tear out the sidewalls way too easily...

these are the UPGRADED 8 ply tire vs the 6 ply that everyone is normally running ;)

I have yet to see a GY 8 ply tear, seen lots of 6 ply

this guy has 8 seperate 17" rims lying around, 4 with 4.5 backspacing, 3 with 5.25 and one with 5

In canada they try not to sell duratracs that a "C" load due to common terrain, also the reason they wont sell them to non oilfield trucks

you can get "c" load but they wont last, I tried to get "E" load but they were on 6 month backorder and they could get "D" that day

I have had them down to 4 psi, over rock, in pinch rock, survived moab this year without issues. Only time I had an issue was I was running PSI no beadlocks and was winching a guy with the tire turned and I popped a bead lol

Ya no offense Joe..but no one in their right mind should ever pay that much for a set of used tires. Lightly or not. Especially without rims

    Monte COME TO CANADA
    actually here go to Kijiji
    go to Edmonton
    search those tires

tell me what you find ;)

unfortunately this is why i said it will more than likely be a LOCAL sale, these tires would cost in excess of 2k+ in canada, dont like it, dont say shit, thats my current price

    http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...?pc=31930&tmn=Wrangler+DuraTrac&typ=Truck/SUV

the person is receiving 5 tires, 3 of which are NEW condition 2 of which have no noticeable difference, so yes in the US I may be a little high, but always aim high right, do i put ill take 1k right now NO, than the canadian client will only pay 800....... 1200 north of the border is a good deal no matter which way you spin it

had i known about discount tire direct before i bought them i would have bought them through them...... still would have been 1800 + install fees
