how much is a little more? these are the top of the line, but pricey. upside is that if one of the heim joints ever goes bad, you can replace just the joint, for a fraction of the cost.

One can never have too much sealant. I figure after I get the headlights all back together I will run a bead of this around the seal for added security.

some crappy dealer installed lift , 285's, trail pin striping, and a grill full of lights.
...or if you are going to go off road remove the sway bar all together. A lot of people here have and I don't believe anyone misses it.

ya, I could do that, but my #1 issue that stands in my way right now, my Tacoma is only 2WD, and its gonna cost a pretty penny to convert it, so i might as well buy these because its going to be awhile before Im able to get the parts I need

I'm just suprised I had to get the drivers off the cd. I tried at least 5 from the internet and through windows update that refused to work. Who would have thought the mini cd with come through with working ones!

I don't think I have got working drivers from the cd in the same box as the device in 10 years.

    Lots.
Yea man. I love mine. Need to get it re-painted. My half-assed job didn't hold up in the NY winter.

Do you know how to tune those bad boys (MAF Sensor Cals)? I'd love to get mine retuned.

White, debadged, Mudflaps removed, ICON 2.5 in front, 2.0 in rear, all 4 corners have reservoirs, Spidertrax wheel spacers all around, BAMF bolt on sliders, Avid lightbar, oem transmission cooler converted to power steering cooler, aftermarket transmission cooler eliminating all oem transmission cooler stuff, remote mounted spin on transmission fluid filter TrueTrac rear differential, rear diff housing vented and filtered into left side bed box, URD MAF calibrator, Volant intake scoop into oem airbox, second filter removed, airbox internals smoothed, blended and polished throttle body, NST intake manifold spacer, Wet Okolee set covers, WeatherTech Digital Fit mats, inexpensive JVC single DIN, Scangage, AVS Stepshield door sill protectors, Doug Thorley Long Tube Headers, URD Y pipe with O2 sims.
Agree, I picked up mine from TigerDirect. Not knowing which style I wanted, somehow I bought two different brands. I forget the exact details but my less expensive one was fine, the expensive cable had issues.

Same use, URD MAF Blackbox, but in URD's defense, they don't build these, unless URD and Split Second are the same company.

It took me a little while to figure out the software and how to accomplish swapping the data from emails>Laptop>URD.

Anyone interested in a 1" diff drop (for a 1st Gen, if it matters)? Basically just the bolts, spacers, and nuts. No skid spacers. I'm assuming it's a Procomp kit. When I put the diff housing back in, I used the Toytec kit that came with my OME lift so if anyone wants the old one it's up for grabs.

For that matter, I also have the 2-2.5 (not sure which)" Procomp above-the-top-plate spacers (currently still mounted on the Procomp ES3200 shocks with stock coils) if someone wants them.

Lemme know if you want them and I'll hold them for ya, otherwise they are getting turned in for scrap metal.

I know haha, i loaded the cd as a last resort, thinking that it was no use before i even opened the folder. I hate computers.

I mean, i know how to adjust the map, but that doesn't mean I know the first thing about what i should be adjusting it to.....

why do you need it retuned? what intake do you have? Gadget was telling me that that is really the only thing that has any measurable affect on determining how it needs to be tuned. He probably has a a map for whatever you have, or at least something close to it that you could tweak from there. I think you need the wideband afr sensor to record data though. without that, and probably some other datapoints, you/he will have no idea what needs to be done

My biggest issue was really the cord. once that worked, i just hooked into the right com port and loaded the new map. i just followed the directions in Gadget's writeup on the website.

as for URD/split second, they may very well have some sort of affiliation, but URD is in southern maryland, and split second appears to be in california. iether way, i think it's time for an upgrade from the DB9 port.

at least i get to return a $40 cord now
