Tell your father in law to consider replacing the illegal workers with a few hard working legal American citizens that are in need of work right now and he'll not only be helping to restore America but will have better more mature workers. (hopefully) Then if they act like children in the work place too, can em.

Also back to topic, I fuck with them back anyway, but it becomes pointless, I'm alone, versus 3 Mexican guys, not saying like in a physical manner but if I get "out of line" they can make my working conditions such a living hell. That is what mainly prevents me from retalliation, no one has my back, where as they are all with eachother.

He didn't mention it because he was being respectful, my guess is they're here working illegally.

Also, should have said this earlier they are Americanized, that's the problem, they were born here so they feel they don't need to work as hard. It's actually the *******s that work the hardest. ( I know from experience, they also have the most to lose if they screw up)

    Edit: Illegals*** shit haha

OP, getting into a little trouble won't mess things up for your plan to become a Marine, but the bottom line is you shouldn't since your just a recruit at this point. You have to earn the title by graduating from basic training. Good luck to you and keep a positive mindset for success.
As for your temp job, it sounds like a horrible work environment and threats and equipment tampering should be taken seriously if it involves bodily harm. If it does....you should take this up with the father n law. If not, move on to the next temp job until you leave for the head shaving.
However, I would remind the "great" workers that one day you have the possibility of being their boss and that they are dime a dozen and they should be prepared to eat shit.

This was kinda my thought as well... I didn't say anything since there are actual marines here like yourself who obviously know way more than I do, but I can't see the military not letting you in for kicking someone's ass. I mean, after you're on active duty isn't kicking the rest of the world's ass kinda your job?

OP, I deal with Mexicans everyday, all contractors. All I can say is man up and stand up for yourself without getting into trouble, they are testing you for what you are worth.

It's easy for me to deal with them since I work for a huge company that uses contractors on a daily basis, I oversee their jobs and if any of them give me crap I kick them off our property.

If you can't deal with these guys then good luck in the military.

Negative - You job after you go through training is to follow orders and in garrison the law of the land is part of those orders.

Getting into a fight that you start is a great way to lose a contract - I have met two folks who had contracts removed, and heard several more second hand stories of it happening.
The DoD is looking to reduce personnel expenses when both retention and recruiting are near all time highs, which means they can afford to be picky.

Yeah agreed. I have friends of every color, good friends. I didn't mean to jump on the illegal immigrant bandwagon or start any racial tension, my apologies to anyone I may have offended.

I was out working and got to thinking, the OP asked these guys to lighten up on the teasing, and we know it's going to continue, and since getting a different job isn't an easy answer, he just needs to come up with some teasing and insulting creativity of his own.

Basically, if you can't beat 'em join 'em. Really get under their skin. It's what I've done in the past, but beware, it'll get pretty ugly real quick but that's the point, you'll know you got under their skin.

If this doesn't work, mess with their stuff to no end when they aren't looking. Or...do what Dexter would do if it comes to that. :)
