heading to charleston, sc

my fiance wanted to go to the beach since she has a few extra days off. she asked me how i felt about charleston, told her ild never been (niether has she), so we r going. heading down there sunday morning sometimes, driving the taco! what interesting to see in or around charleston, we will only be there from sunday-tuesday sometime!

 

Taking the fiance- That sucks. The ratio for chicks to dudes in charleston is like 7:1 during the school year.

I did some training there and NEVER have I before that...or since then...been hit on in a bar by multiple chicks....but it happened there.

The beaches are great. I learned how to kiteboard up there....and got a decent tan too. It was awesome....and the history was pretty good. Take a walking ghost tour if you can too!!

 

Stay away from North Charleston. Its the 7th most dangerous city in America. When our football team used to play there, they would sprint to and from the bus because they were scared they would get shot or shanked.

 

Oh, the rest of Charleston is nice. Especially around the College of Charleston area. Its a neat part of town.

 

charleston is an awesome city!! visit the market and the battery while you are there.

cool thanks guys! i didnt know the charleston women to guy ratio was like that. i appreciate all of ur advice, ill be sure to stear clear of north charleston. im not really a history buff guy, i like it, but i dont jizz my pants over it! we will more then likely do the walking ghost tour!

If they exist..They are a great evening event for ANY town. I've done them all over the country- Key West, Boston, San Fran, and Charleston to name a few.

They are a blast- A few of them were drunk nights...but that's all good...=)

haha. yeah. don't go there. Im not saying youre gonna get shot if you do, but your chances go way up. besides theres nothing to do or see in NC.

 

Born, raised and still live in Charleston. i have a BBQ restaurant that is about a 5 minute drive from Downtown. We are the oldest restaurant in Charleston and known nation wide. Stop on by. Take a carriage ride(Old South Carriage), waterfront park, Folly beach pier, market street, king street. I think the farmer's market is on tuesdays in Marion Square. There's the aquarium and Charleston River Dogs baseball games in Downtown as well. Call me when you get to town and I can meet you and maybe help you. PM me if you want my number.
