Got it, thanks. I think I'll wait for the CT run to find out what you'd need that for, but it looks wicked serious. My off-roading experience in my trucks has always been in pits, dirt roads, snow fields, beaches. The only technical off-roading I did was in my '72 LeMans Sport Coupe, and that went very slow, and sometimes the boys had to push. We could have used Chris's windshield wash vodka blast.

Filters get cleaned less, so that's ok. CAIs aren't usually true CAIs... URD CAI and snorkels are the only real deal.

The URD set up is a true CAI as it places the filter in front of the radiatior (behind the grill). Cold air is denser and is supposed to have a higher oxygen content so you end up with better combustion (and allegedly some more HP). You'd have to be ok with the look of a filter in your grill with this set up too. Ultimately the best option is a snorkel which is another ball of wax entirely...

Okay, you just lost me again. What is a URD CAI and snorkels? (I get the CAI part). Snorkles...I'm going snorkeling in Florida soon.
