Congrats, hunting a speed goat with a rifle is tough, can't imagine with a bow!

Some gators from this year- me on the right. Two tens and an eight, not bad. Still have to fill one tag. We're going for an 11' plus.

3 days in a hot blind in a alfalfa field, and still had to take a 90 yrd shot to get it. Your right though watering hole is ugutyquh_176b97fad64c5f5b465c81a4a6112d293463a3cc.jpg #1 way to get close. If you look close you can see the blind on the left side of photo in background where the alfalfa meets the base of mountain2u3asuru_bc22ec4daf190b6e2562b1042e198a5edc558624.jpg

Shot this coastal blacktail last weekend. Not a monster but helped kill this forky from the gene pool and put meat in the freezer.

I made some amazing sausage out of the one I got last year. I mixed in a cup of brown sugar, a cup of white sugar, and 1/2 cup of salt in with about 20 lbs of meat, then fed 5 lbs of bacon into the grinder with it. I smoked some of it up last night with mesquite wood and dang that was good! Dude, meat candy.
