lol me neither. But Robert I think it's a great idea, I bet the engine is fine after a little TLC. Makes me think of Rockdawg's black 4runner he bought. The girl thought the head was cracked because it was smoking. Turns out she just put too much oil in it LOL

I'm really pushing it but she's not budging (fiancé). I'm going to make her a deal that if I can't get it running in 2 months then its gone. I really think it will be only a slight repair and be good to go. For $425 I can sell the wheels/tires and roof rack to make the money back. She just doesn't see that. Women...

Also no way am I sc'ing a 374k engine. So it would be pretty useless unless I'm putting it on my 2000 by I'd probably sell that and upgrade my fiancé to a Highlander from her jeep. Or put the sc money to bumpers and lockers.

Hmmm for some reason that seems like your kinda bribing her withy hat last part :p and yeah just from the part out you would make your money back, but women see physical value not prospective value.

Well like I have said I call dibs on that SC if you ever end up selling it (unless I somehow manage to buy one before then)

Two of my ex-girls had previous BFs that didn't know jack about cars and trucks. How in the hell does that happen. I was drivin her car and got a flat. Had the bitch changed out in 1:30 flat lol

Pussification... they've been pussified. It's kind of like girls being in love with their "gay friend". They act the same as girls, but they have a penis.... and they go to a salon to get their haircut and a spray tan. One stop shopping! OMG!

LOL sorry it reminded me of this girl in Tucson I used to know named Rochelle. She dated the biggest vagina ever and she loved him because he would take her on dates that went like this.... 1. Pedicure 2. Tanning 3. Appetizer+wine lunch 4. Romanic Comedy 5. Cuddle

I think he was more into it than she was. He was a douche.

What are you saying Connor? I should shower her with diamonds? Haha

Trust me my fiancé has 0 interest in cars. She absolutely hates that I work on them or like wheeling.

Ha ha new word of the day "Pussification" definition as follows:

Verb. 1. To which a males penis falls off and grows a vagina! 2. When a male indulges to heavily in feminine activities. 3. Failure to acquire proper manly life skills such as burping, shooting, wrenching, killing shit, causing mayhem and chaos, drowning puppies, drinking REAL beer, etc. 4. Going to a spa for a pedicure or god forbid manicure. 5. Thinking that making out and cuddling is "getting some". 6. Distain for BACON!!!

I think that sums it about up pretty well.

Or you could shower her in diamond encrusted puppies. Lol

    It would be like :shitstorm:

Well does she go wheeling with you at least??? I can handle them not going wheeling but working on trucks and shit is a different story. I wonder if she knows how much it saves to do your l own maintenance??? Lol

Haha we tried the puppy thing this year and it lasted a week. She won't even wheel with me. Said she would without my daughter if we went for an hour or so. She told me that she would have dumped me when we first started going out if she knew that I liked cars so much. Great....lol

Rob thanks for looking my name up for me..haha. Also are you done with your SAS? That shits taking forever! J/k

LOL hell no we're not done it's taking forever haha. This swap is going super fast... but we're honestly only ACTUALLY working about 3-4 hours a day. The rest is just random bullshitting and whatnot. It really could have been done last week easy.

We're pretty close. We still have the rear panhard (one of the brackets got messed up), shock towers to weld in, shock tabs, get the coilovers assembled and in, hook the exhaust back up, hook up brakelines and bleed, hook up steering lines and bleed. Put it on the forklift, make sure everything clears, and do the final welds.

That's just to get it driving.... still need to notch the tcase crossmember to get the front driveshaft in, hook up ARB compressor and run lines, address the speedometer (but I'll probably procrastinate on that). annnnnd I think that's about it.

I was hoping it would be rolling friday because we just need a good solid 8 hours of work to get it driving.. sigh.

     free ego booster!

Also, I'm getting no bites on these tires.. I'm just gonna pull em off craigslist and the forums and run them. They'll be a little small but hopefully I can find a bigger tire soon because I'm going to need it for snow wheelin'!
