Finally saved up enough to buy a front bumper and ditch my 6 year old rock chipped OEM and after shopping around for a while have decided on either the Brute Force or Armor Tech Hybrid bumpers. Price is roughly the same. Hope some of you out there with one of these two bumpers replies with your experience.

    Thanks

I was reading my neighbor Oury's post and Billy from Brute Force must have been mentioned every other sentence. It sounded like turn around time was very good too!

Question: I reading on some post that Brute Force wasn't doing the TRD cutout anymore which is ok but I wonder if they do any custom cutouts or all the bumpers have the same?

Im sure he could do custom cutouts... Just not the TRD logo. But if you want custom cutouts expect a lot longer of a wait time.

Yea- reason why that was my other choice was BulletToothTony's truck looked sick and sounds like he was pretty happy with his. Not too many on here and would be kind of cool maybe being the first DSM Taco with that bumper.

Yea- it's weird? I am pretty sure they still make them and last I saw were for about $650 but that was a year ago. Only thing that I do know is that they don't do the TRD cutout anymore.

I should get word on the Brute Force probably Monday but looking at Armor Tech for Hybrid with grill guard, corner guards, and light mounts adds up to about $730. Probably add tax and shipping and are looking at about $900.

Get the one that has the best reinforcement tied into the frame so it doesn't rip the bumper mounts off the frame if you are going to actually use it for recoveries.

Does Brutes Force just send over to local Fastenal?

Billy's got a strong following. Can't wait to talk to him tomorrow!
