Badges

Hey guys should I remove all my badges on my truck? When I bought it the passenger door one was already gone and I'm too lazy to glue it back on. So should I remove my driver's side one and the tailgate ones as well?

 

All up to you bud. Some have them off/paint but most leave them on. I like the stock look but like i said all ip to you

 

Put the other badge on then derp em all.

 

I like the door hates plasti dipped and the tailgate ones off.

 

All off !!! I took the plunge this month & removed them all...on a silverstreak mica truck...looks CLEAN !!!!

 

I had the dealer remove mine on day one and never looked back. they look clean without them

 

Just took mine off and painted them. I really like it without but I think the painted (graphite) will give my truck a little contrast. Hard to say I guess, search for some pics and see what you think. Do some different colors and just tape them up for quick Terrence to see if you like it!

 

Girlfriends hair dryer, dental floss, Goof Off, Turtle Wax.

My badges on my 13' were such a bitch to get off... I did the same but with fishing line... I've used very hot soap and water, too gone, windex and wd-40 and I still have residue. You can read all the lettering... That's another reason I think I'll put mine back on, I can't get it clean enough...

 

Use a hair dryer to heat the emblem / double back tape up and then gently pull the emblem off, works great.

 

I plastidiped the door emblems and removed the ones off the tailgate. I like the way it looks!

I pull the emblems off all my rides. I like the clean look. You can check my build if you want to see what it looks like without.

I took mine off a few weeks back. Never thought about it till I saw a thread here on TW about removing them. The truck looks so much cleaner now.

 

Painted mine graphite. Front doors stayed the same and did this on the tailgate.

 

I kept the Tacomas on the doors and tailgate, dipped them charcoal. The rest went in the trash!!

On my '13 I used mineral spirits since it's a mild solvent and won't hurt the paint. It still took some rubbing but I got all the residue off. Hit it with a little polish and there's no sign the badges were ever there.

 

Looks great. I love the red TRD...I think I may go that route! Thanks for the inspiration.
