A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
I installed the birddog bracket and its night and day. The rear view was a big obstruction.

    Hi all,

I'm a new guy to the forum and purchased a new '13 DCSB TRD Sport. I have about 3K on the odo so far. Here's what I've done to date.

Front skid plate (say what you will but I like it)

    Running Boards
    [IMG]

    LoPro QT bed cover

And a bed extender for the Yaks

Thanks for all the great info on this site.

    Best,

Yes I did, what a pain in the ass! They came off easy but whatsoever they use is still stuck to the truck. I cleaned with everything I could get my hands on and you can still read where my emblems were. I want to try something different on the tailgate so I hope with some washes and some more cleaning and waxing you won't see it. The front door badges will be in the same spot though.

I used my truck yesterday to pick up a cobra independent rear suspension. The weight brought the rear down to level. That is why I like my truck with a little rake. The rear will be installed in a 1985 ford LTD squire station wagon, in case you were wondering.

Love the mods and the look except for the front if I am seeing these colors correct? Is that a silver lower valence (above the skid) or is it black and just a reflection?

It's like a graphite gray... I believe all the 13's have the same. I know mine does and all that I've seen.

Yes it does! If you find the mirror to be a little too low and in your line of sight I highly recommend it.

The dust and dirt was driving me crazy so i literally removed the whole center console and radio bezel so i could clean and vacuum. Also cleaned all the glass, Filled fluids, cleaned my weathertechs, Even cleaned my foot rest by the E-brake haha. I was pretty meticulous about it.

I dont fucking know how but i have black speckles on my passenger side doors and windows. one of two things, Fresh asphalt or overspray from my grandpas body shop. either way, I need laquer thinner.

Whats the story on there lift packs? do they provide lift? I want to get new leaf packs but cant pull the trigger quite yet on Dakars.

You did fine on those wheels, I paid $1050 for my bronze ones new with rugged fails on them, would have definately paid another 800 for the KO's.

    Do they provide lift...you're cute.
Oh yeah. They lift. 4" inches unloaded. The expos are like the hd dakars. Good if you're constantly carrying 200-300lbs at all times.
I don't know the specs on the all pros but I believe they give a much higher weight rating. No overload leaf though. And the leaves are much thinner but there's like 10 of them. So we'll see how they flex.

I definitely need to find leafs but i dont want to be to lifted in front, Dakars are probably the best way to go, 4" would make my truck look like a stinkbug ha

Got my bad bars and gas can mounts put on them. ATO was superb to deal with! They even drilled and tapped the bad bars where I want to cans mounted. Quality is top notch, worth every penny.

For the past couple of weeks, I've been driving my truck from Ft. Benning, GA to Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. It was just under 6,000 miles because I meandered along the way to see family and stopped in Salem, Oregon to pick up my little sister so she could do the trip through British Columbia and Yukon with me. We had a great time - we camped our way through Canada and got to see some amazing country. The Tacoma did great. I was pulling a 3,000 lb UHaul the whole time and didn't have any issues, although I was averaging 13 mpg. I almost doubled the mileage on the truck, so hopefully I'm closer to completing the break in period.

Now that I'm finally in Alaska, I'll get more opportunities to use the truck for what I bought it for :)
