so after my first run through the fence line at pismo doing about 70 mph I bent the main leaf on the passenger side. my question is can I get them rearched even though the main leaf is bent and how do I prevent this from happening in the future/what caused this?

From the way you roll with your truck it'd be pointless to re ARC & i don't care what you're told its forever a weak spot if you do (i promise it won't hold up for long) Your main is officially a door stop....

How does this happen ?? Really dude ?? ( I know you know better than that) I'd blame gravity & call it a day...:)

That what I was afraid of... I'll have to call deaver in the morning and get a new leaf. I'm just wondering if there's a setup error here. I'd just like to prevent this from happening again

As long as everything is set up right I'd just get a new leaf and call it a day , things like that happen sometimes when you drive hard

That and appropriate distance between Shackle mount, Front Spring Hanger, etc.

As well, the cantilever arms/setup are moving freely and not adding any loading/stress to the rear.

    Lots of expensive shit
My guess is your spring is binding cause shackles weren't set up properly. And you can just replace main leaf, Deaver says they have to do 1st 3 leafs together because of the military wrap

They should be able to replace just the main, I've had it done a few times by other spring shops, and yeah make sure the shackle to front perch mount is the right distance

All pro LT with Walker Evans. All pro expedition leafs in the back.
Back rides like a goddamn dump truck now.

    Love it.
