I almost got nominated for a couple of awards; but thankfully the only place I ever won that award does not show up on licenses searches in the US.

I'll have to look into those. My Kershaws locking mechanism is very shitty. What kind of blade steel does it use?

Good news. After some haggling we got it out for free

CRKT has been around for quite a while now. They are one of the better knives in their price bracket.

Do you have it in writing? Congrats on that though.

Ya she already has her car back.

And I just looked into the CRKT knives. Not impressed at all with their blade material selection. They are an average knife. I wouldn't pay more than $30 for one. They use Chinese and Japanese steel and don't offer any high quality american steel blades.

I was thinking about your screwed situation and your truck. Once you get the truck back from the shop would you still be able to be paid for depreciated value of the truck? Prior to it getting into the shop it was known to be clean with no problems; now it will come out with repaired frame damage. I know when I got rear ended in my Tacoma I was paid $1k for depreciated value and the insurance company didn't even flinch because the truck had a clean record prior to the accident.

Since it was his fault the insurance does not pay diminished value.

Better than rocks and replacing body panels.

I'm supposed to replace those body panels? ? ? :D To each his own; I really just hate having to walk through mud when/if I get stuck. The rocks tend to not stick to my boots like mud does. I'll play in mud every once in awhile but not if it is something that I might get stuck in.

I don't like the deep stuff. I was just trying entertain my youngest daughter. You know simple a little slip n slide and be done, then go home and wash truck. Instead I get stuck and get the joy of calling my wife to bring her jeep and pull me out, then go home to wash mine and her's with my daughter's laughing at me. Fun night regardless.

They are way over priced. I left then and went to Nationwide a few months ago when we got our new house. I got way more liability coverage on my auto and then bought a house that was twice as expensive. Insurance cost went down about $600 a year over Allstate. I have not had a claim to compare how they handle it compared to Allstate but the savings is sure nice.

Yeah; the stuff we do to make other people happy. I'll bet your daughter has a story she'll never forget now. That's what counts, right?

I have a 2012 Taco and wanted to know how hard is it to change out the front bumper? I have a Pelfreybilt bumper, skids, rigid industries light bar and warn winch sitting on my kitchen floor and its killing me not having it on my truck. Or does anyone know of a shop in the Dallas area that can do the install?
