hmm, that kinda reassures me with my 2WD lol, I kinda need to get new tires though, ones I got now are kinda worn out, wouldnt mind goin with some other people sometime, i think itd be a lot of fun

The Toyota FJ Cruiser was the proverbial answer to a question very few people were asking. It was meant to be an homage to the original Toyota Land Cruiser. But with terrible egress into the seats, and worse fuel economy amidst a flood of better looking crossovers and SUVs, the FJ had a very small and elite club of owners. Too small to keep it going.

Off-road enthusiasts gave the FJ props for its handling in dry creek beds and the like. But there aren't enough of them. After a half-decent showing of 56,000 annual sales in in 2006, sales trickled to fewer than 14,000 last year.

After the 2014 model year, it's Sayonara for the FJ.

 

I have some armor to install too. Wouldn't mind checking out the dunes and some BBQ.

 

The dunes are closed. They fenced them up.

 

Darn, we'll have to figure something out. My weekends may be full though, not sure yet.

 

The lake Mary spot is where we were last night. Nice and open with plenty of sand hill climbs and a muddy lake and trails and all kinds of stuff.

 

Yeah, I'd be nice to meet some people and do some wheeling.
