Re-glued the little clip for the driver's seat trim piece, hopefully it'll hold another year!

 

Blew my sub!

 

Installed new bumper and winch.

 

Finally put my first wrench on her since I bought her a month ago. Installed an Alpine head unit and 2 Kicker 12s yesterday.

Today I put new plugs, fuel filter, and air filter on her. And found out that where my MAF connects to my air box is broke off. So there's a huge gap between my box and MAF; kinda defeating the purpose of a new filter. Gonna duct tape her up until I get a new intake next week.

Changing plugs on the 3.4 sucks whale dick.

 

And broke my interior door handle earlier.

Just replaced the exterior handle. Guess I'm too used to yanking on Chevy handles lol

 

That plug against the firewall on the driver's side is a bitch aint it? I pulled my plug wire in half last time. And my interior handle has been broken since I bought the truck haha. Too cheap to fix it!

 

I read how to fix the squeaky clutch.. But it still squeaks. Guess ill have to take it apart.

 

Had to take the bracket for the plenum, the OBD port, and a few other lines off. Slightly ridiculous lol


Ordered a new handle from NAPA for $17. Only problem is that my interior is gray but the only handle he could get is black. But oh well. I'll live.

Mine squeaks like a stuck pig. WD40 solved nothing.

 

Removing one bracket, i have never found it to be that difficult. Pretty easy to me. Just use a long extension.

Greased all 6 grease points on the rear drive shaft, gonna do the front when it's not so friggin hot.

 

I looked on ebay a while back for them and found them for like $10 a pair just too lazy to get them.

Getting the plug out is no problem, like you said just use a long extension. The thing I have a hard time with is getting my hands down there to get the plug wire off.

 

I tried white grease and didn't quite it a bit, looks like ill be fixing it next weekend.

 

Got new seats for a great deal

 

I took the spring off curled it up and sunk it in a tub of white grease. This was really messy and a bitch to put back on. But it hasn't squeaked yet. Did it a month ago. Got sick of hearing it and people asking "your clutch sounds like a donkey"

 

Fixed my AC. (after driving through Montana and Wyoming without it) What a difference!

 

It rids everything else of squeaks, why not try it on the clutch assembly? There isn't much water on my bedroom door hinges, but it sure solved the squeak.....

I'm slowly learning that my fat ogre paws are gonna be a curse when working on this truck.
