I'm so glad you answered the question I asked... I won't be running without a spacer, you can gladly not run a spacer on your truck - but mine will have it due to the 4 inch diff drop.

Why are you so insistent on running the spacer?

You seem to be doing a lot of research and work only to half-ass the suspension with that spacer.

FYI, anytime you post a question on any topic, regardless of how specific, be prepared to have people analyze what you are trying to accomplish. Believe it or not, there are some people on here that have a lot of knowledge and want only to help you out.

I had presumed that with your plans for a bumper, winch, and skids, that you'd want an off road setup. This is why I say to scrap the spacers, and reclaim some ground clearance while installing a proven wheeling setup.

I'm not sure why sort of end goal you're shooting for by using your existing spacers in conjunction with the 4x4 equipment you listed previously.

Free bump for you as maybe somebody else can give you some different ideas.

Yep & to be clear OP, you keep referencing a diff drop as a lift, do you mean a drop bracket ?? You'd almost have to be with a reference to 4" of lift seeing how 3" is the max with IFS 4x's , true the bracket WILL get you 4" but it also lowers your ground clearance an inch or more IIRC....

God I hate IFS, solid axle anyday knowing now what i didn't know then about IFS...

I'm Running the spacer because it's the only way I can make this work, due to the drop bracket. It's not how I would have done the lift if I had done it myself. I would have used a 1 inch drop and gone with some coils which would have done the lifting. But now that things have been cut on this truck - I can't really go back to that.

Yes I do, I keep mixing up the terms. I do agree as well, I would have saved up and just splurged for a SAS.

Yeah, this is my first IFS 4x, I've had full sized Fords , a great run with my 1 ton Power Wagon, had a jeep & my favorite 4x was my '83 Toyota single cab, they all shared 1 thing in common... solid axle, I'll never buy another IFS thats for sure, too many "pussy parts"...:)
