Do you integrate your "Working dog" with the family/other dogs?

My sister lives next to a K9 officer, his dog doesn't mix with the family much at all. Especially his kids.

Just curious. I figure it is probably case by case basis depending on the family/dog.

I do. The dog on the right is my retired Mali. The dog on the left (the GSD) is my current working dog. But they both live at home with me and play with my son and his friends. They go out and play with the neighbors lab and socialize like any other dog. I think it is important for the dogs to be well socialized. This way i can bring him out at home and he doesn't attack a kid or anything. It's less work for me at home. That is actually jason (toyotatech31) who took the picture. He came by with his son and his buddies little girl. They all had a good time playing with the dogs and toys. Jason has a good time drinking my beer:D:D
