"limb risers" they're supposed to push tree limbs up and over the top of the truck. Also double as solar clothes dryer.

The trip was a lot of fun! I want to thank everyone who helped me make it in and out of the trail! Special thanks for Jason, Jerry, Justin, Steve, and Greg for the awesome spotting.. I wouldn't have made it through some of those obstacles without your guys' help! My FJ now has its first serious battle scar!

I want to mount it under the seat and run the faceplate to under the cig lighter in front of the shifter, but when I opened it up most of the connections don't look to hard to extend but the 35 pin flat ribbon cable...

On the cable is printed: SHS E188165 RJ AWM 20798 80C 60V VW-1. I don't know how to read this in order to find out if I can order a 4-5' section of this type of cable.

Yeah I had found those but they used an older radio that doesn't have the same kind of ribbon cable, mine is some REALLY tiny wires. It has 35 pins and is 18mm wide :(

Technically it's illegal to modify a CB radio in the manner described. Uniden actually had to file an exemption to make their wireless microphone/speaker setup.

Cobra's WX 75 is a special exception as well.

While the setup is cool, you'll probably have to source the components on your own.

Oh, well I scoured the internet for a few hours just now and couldn't find anything that would work. I will have to see if I cut out the back to the cubby hole if it will fit in there, or else I will have to find somewhere else to do it. I wouldn't mine the wireless mic though that would be cool I think.
