    Lots of expensive shit
First you gotta find the 50t, than when it breaks, you gotta find someone to help you. The TPF truck broke the main leaf after one race and a few test sessions, after finding no product support, and talking with Deaver about a replacement main leaf, we made the decision to switch to the deaver H70 pack. Deaver isn't going anywhere, and has excellent support for leaf maintenance

I'm not leaf spring rocket scientist but I've always been under the impression the military wrap is as much of a safety as it is a support. Without it, when this happens, you're stuck trying to figure out how to retrieve the truck rather then our case where we stayed on the gas as if it didn't even happen for another 40 miles.

And that's your all mighty 50T pack. Has probably less then 400 miles of actual hard dirt use. I'm going out on a limb and betting those 400 miles were way harder then 99% of your trucks are used. The pack worked amazing though right up till that point. You can't get service parts for the 50T pack though so that was reason enough to switch to Deaver for us. Deaver can not make you just a single replacement for a 50T pack. They'll sell you a complete top 3 leafs or just switch to the H70 pack. The reason they can't make replacement singles is cause the military wrap is too tight for them to actually duplicate it perfectly. The H70 pack is VERY similar to the 50T. The way the ends wrap are a bit different and we lost about 1.5" of ride height in the rear. Next time they get sent in for service/prep I'm going to ask them to add more arch to them.

Continue on with your leaf spring arguements, I'm just talking from my first hand experiences with the actual leaf springs on the truck in my actual garage and based on the phone calls and conversations I've had with Deaver. Feel free to correct my 1st hand experiences and conversations if they're wrong and you know more then I do about my own situation.

Then again maybe we do just baby the truck and it hangs out at the mall more then it does in the dirt.

Engage spindles only work with Engage kits and you cant get a race lift spindle for a 4x4 truck.

Spindle gussets is your best bet.

Okay guys I have a geometry question.

I am toying with the idea of throwing a 2nd gen 8" front diff under my truck. Yes..it's crazy but bear with me for a minute.

I have already don rough measurements and the diff I actually think is gonna bolt up to the stock mount.

But it is approx 1" wider per side give or take.

So if I ran say a 4.5" over LT kit with custom axles, would it be about the same wheel travel as a 3.5" over kit on a stock truck? Cause won't the cv be the limit and it isn't actually made for a 4.5" kit?

And just to explain as to why I'm curious is as you all know 2nd gen front diffs are strong and the cvs are stronger and I'm gonna be running 35s so the stronger cvs will be nice with the stronger diff.

I know it's outlandish but I'm just thinking.

What do you have your coils set at? It looks like it's massively tall. I can't tell if it's the tires or coils.

And damn...we are matching! Nice. :D

    ...too much shit to list.
    Outlandish is right.

    Custom Axles $$
    Custom LT Kit $$$$$
Fab time and no support $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Standard 3.5" first gen kit uses tundra axles which are a 930 style inner CV, not a tripod, and stronger than your CVs. Still stuck with 7.5" IFS, but for the money you're talking you could SAS or centermount.
