playing with the idea of center mount too..

and not that expensive. There is a BTF 4.5'' kit on TTORA for 2k. I have a diff lined up for under 200

but yes. Custom axles will be painful.

And i have no doubt id be totally fine running 33s..but im going to 35s and they can implode just the diff as yes the Tundra axles are stronger.

Just figured it could possibly work..but i didn't know about the geometery of it since the axle ends would be further out but the UCA and LCAs still in the stock place.

center mount would be sweet though..id do that if i had just a bit more fab experience and equipment to use.

Yeah I know it looks tall. About an 1" on driver side and about 5/8" on passenger side, that'll be changed up soon tho.

    Canadians do it right

I was rolling around in a 2012 Superduty on Methods and Toyos most of the weekend but we had a whole bunch of rigs out there. LS Rail, LS Ranger, a couple built silvys, Stepside F150 and that Red Single Cab Ranger in the contest. The girl that won the ridewithbj contest was with us too hahahah.

I'll try to get some of my pics uploaded later tonight, still rolling on like 2 hours worth of sleep after the 12 hour drive. You guys should have come said hey. We were hanging out with Eric and his crew from Moores Metal Works out at the contest. I saw you and a few other TW guys parked on the hill across from us out there. Truck looks good!

Had a few issues but it did really well!

Edit: Horrible quality (pic of a pic of a pic) but this was one of my favorites from the weekend

No wonder no one else has them. I know lift spindles don't work with 4x4 trucks but thought the Engage spindles would cause they are 5/8th" lift? I contacted Engage twice and told them I was running a TC kit and they never told me it wouldn't work?

wouldnt a 4x4 spindle be as easy as popping the hole out of the center of the 2wd hub?

The fabbed spindles don't have a cap to pop out. They are usually just solid all the way through. At least the ones I have seen pics of on here are.

Possibly. Might weaken the spindle depending on how it was designed. And gussets would still be cheaper.

All the fabbed spindles are lift spindles..... can't have a CV and balljoint in the same real estate...

Stick with the 7.5. The only failures I see with 35s is from improper set up. The tundra CVs are much better than the Tacoma ones and almost always it's the CVs that break, not the diff. Annnnnd I reaaaaaly hate setting up gears on the 8". LOL.

This customer is still on the same CVs and diff the truck left with over a yr ago.

Lift spindles move the LCA mount up, usually near the center line of the hub which is where the axle would otherwise be
