It may be just me, but i research stuff before i buy, if you were to do research on diesel you'd find that they're pretty clean burning, and fuel efficient.

I'm old enough to remember, and have pumped gas and diesel for them all too. All GM did was take a regular V8 and convert it to run on diesel. Great engineering, so great I think they are single handedly responsible for the bias against diesels in this country.

Doesn't matter to me, I can do without having to wear gloves to pump my fuel and having to add urea at specified times.

My cousins Dodge Cummins gets 23mpg and puts down around 400hp. I think that is pretty efficient if I don't say so myself, his truck is built correctly and doesn't smoke hardly at all unless you turn the chip up.
